The old merchant town and port city of Thisted is the perfect desti­na­tion for an exciting holiday excursion, with charming streets and the historic, heritage-listed town hall, which adds at­mosp­he­re to the city. The city is known for its award-winning Thisted Brewery, where you can learn about the history of the brewery and sample the locally brewed beer. The summer land area of Skårup Strand is located 8 km west of Bogense. From Skårup Strand, you can enjoy all the best of Funen coast. The beach is extremely family-friendly with calm, shallow water and fine sand. Here the youngest holiday guests can safely play at the water’s edge and build sandcast­les of various sizes. The beach is also a popular spot for water sports ent­hu­si­asts as the calm water make it possible to jump up on the pad­dle­bo­ard or go kayaking. The area is close to Svendborg where you can explore hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions, charming shops and homely cafés.

Spend your holiday home break in the tranqui­li­ty of the forest under the forest canopy in Ulvshale Skov. This lush, dense area is untouched, with only the paths cleared for hiking. This means that nature and wildlife are wild and secluded, so you might get lucky and see rare birds and other animals, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce wild orchids and specta­cu­lar coastal en­viron­ments close by.
