Thyborøn

Thyborøn

Visit this alluring sanctuary full of soul and charm, where dramatic coastal landscapes and quaint urban environments meet. You will spend your holiday in the middle of some of the most spectacular surroundings Denmark has to offer, with magnificent nature and water on all sides – plus culture, history and a fishing heritage. The sea plays a special role here, and you can explore it at Kystcentret or visit the local aquarium to meet the sea creatures of the area. You can also try different water sports or jump in the waves at the stunning beach, which is Blue Flag-certified.

Nyborg

On Eastern Funen, you will find the old, charming market town of Nyborg. Nyborg oozes ancient history with its impressive medieval castle, Nyborg Castle, which was established back in the 13th century. The castle adorns the townscape and is the backdrop for several social events taking place in the town, especially in the summer. Here you can experience the Medieval Festival and a wide range of musicals and theatre performances, among other things. Near the town centre, you will find Nyborg Strand, a popular beach with fine sand and clear water. The beach is a true attraction for the locals and holidaymakers alike.
Ho

Ho

Being blessed with phenomenal plant and wildlife has earned the vast marsh and tidal area around Ho Bay a designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Heading into the bay you will find Ho Village, a true North Sea pearl where you can create your dream holiday with relaxation, nature experiences, activities and great food. You can play golf in stunning scenery, experience nature on horseback or glide through the landscape in a canoe or kayak. You can also indulge in local culture in the city’s artisan workshops or stop by the inn for a delicious dining experience in a lively setting.

Klitmøller

Colloquially, Klitmøller is known as “Cold Hawaii”. The area by the North Sea is famous for its roaring waves and great wind conditions. Surfers from all over the world travel here to try their strength against the waves. … and you will, of course, find room for sunbathing and relaxation on the wide beaches in Klitmøller to the sound of roaring waves, laughing and squealing. The town centre of the area oozes holiday spirit. Here you will find small cafés and local shops where you can buy anything from local arts and craft to surfing equipment. Klitmøller is part of Thy National Park. This means that you will have the wild, enthralling nature right outside your cottage door.
