Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

Lønstrup is a cosy fishing village where time appears to stop when you let yourself become ent­hral­led by the charming summer villas from the 1920s, popping up here and there the hills around the town. A stone’s throw from the town, you will find Lønstrup Strand, known for its clear water and beautiful dune landsca­pes.

Take a walk along the water, ex­pe­ri­en­ce the marina and enjoy a meal at a local re­stau­rant. The Hejls­min­de Natursti trail offers fresh sea air and birdwat­ching, while the large Skam­lings­ban­ken hill provides mag­ni­fi­cent views.
