Sejerø is a 12 km long island in Kattegat. The island is known as Kattegat’s sunshine island – and for good reason. Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. The nature of the island is diverse and offers eve­ryt­hing from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is espe­ci­al­ly known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been di­scove­red on the island, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.

Klintholm Strand is a summer land area on the south-eastern coast of Funen. And the area is espe­ci­al­ly known for its fantastic beach. With its fine sand and shallow water, the beach is perfect for the whole family. Here the youngest holiday guests can safely splash around at the water’s edge while you laze in the sun. And the magic does not stop here. Klintholm Strand has several bathing jetties making it possible for you to jump into the blue sea quickly and easily. In and around Klintholm, you will find sur­ro­un­dings full of nature featuring open co­un­trysi­de and fresh sea breezes along the coast.
