From the beach, you can also enjoy the view of Mols and its mag­ni­fi­cent nature. In Følle Strand you are close to several hi­sto­ri­cal sights. Just 15 minutes by car, is the medieval castle ruin, Kalø Slotsruin, a 700-year-old fortress. Here you can follow the cobbled paths and enjoy nature and the hi­sto­ri­cal sur­ro­un­dings.

Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.
