Ker­te­min­de is a charming port town on Funen. Here you will find several wonderful beaches, idyllic scenery and a lovely town centre. Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

Situated next to the narrow sound between Westim­mer­land and Salling, Hvalpsund offers a wonderful maritime at­mosp­he­re and many excellent ex­pe­ri­en­ces. As a sum­mer­ti­me at­tra­ction with its beach and acti­vi­ties by the fjord, the town is a favourite desti­na­tion for any beach lover. Situated on the Louns Peninsula, Hvalpsund is a haven for nature lovers. The area is rich in excellent cycling and hiking routes and is worth a visit for all holiday home guests for whom re­laxa­tion and tranqui­li­ty are a priority.
