Off the east coast of Jutland you will find the islands of Tunø, Endelave and Hjarnø. Here you can explore the local plant and wildlife. Hjarnø is closer to the mainland and is a testament to the Viking Age, when the island was once home to the old Nordic seafarers. Ker­te­min­de is a charming port town on Funen. Here you will find several wonderful beaches, idyllic scenery and a lovely town centre. In Ker­te­min­de, you can enjoy lots of great taste sen­sa­tions. Among other things, this is the place of the gourmet re­stau­rant Rudolf Mathies and in the summer, it is actually also to these parts that many people from Funen flock to get the best ice cream cone. Ker­te­min­de is also home to various at­tra­ctions for both children and adults. Visit the Johannes Larsen Museum and let yourself be ent­hral­led by beautiful works of art from Funen, or head to the Fjord & Bælt-centret to learn more about the wonderful world of the sea.
