Put & Take

Put & Take
You can fish in more quiet surroundings at the many Put & Take lakes, where you are practically guaranteed to catch something. Put & Take is a perfect example of family fishing, and it is a great place for beginners who need to train their abilities.

Good facilities
Usually, there are good facilities in connection with the lakes, such as toilets, cleaning areas and a tack shop with the most necessary equipment. In many places, there are also tables and benches, where you can eat your own food, or there are places for barbecue or bonfires, where you can prepare the catch of the day.

Prices
Prices vary at the specific Put & Take lakes. The owner sets the price, and usually, there is a catch limit per person. You can either buy a day pass or pay on an hourly basis.

All year round
Most Put & Take lakes are open all year round, but the most fish are put out during the summer, because that is the time with the most anglers. Even during rain and rough weather, you can find a nice spot with shelter, as you can usually fish all the way around the lake.
