From Nymindegab in the south to Søndervig in the north, hikers and cyclists can find trails that take them through the dunes and holiday cottage areas. This means that you can bring your bicycle or your hiking boots and explore the gorgeous surrounding countryside, where you can let the kids run free.

Hvide Sande Harbour offers exciting adventures year round. The fishing boats unload their catches early in the morning at the vast auction hall, and a fish auction is held every day, which is open to all.
Hvide Sande is home to a large number of angling shops and fish stores due to all the exciting waters in the area - the fjord, sea, lakes and rivers - where you will find lots of angling activity.
In summer, you can take an excursion on the North Sea. And the Skjern Å river is the site of some of Denmark's best salmon fishing waters.

North and south of Hvide Sande, you'll find the renowned wind surfing centres where you can take wind surfing lessons.
You'll also find candle factories, water parks, golf, a riding school and beach riding. At Abeline's Farm and the Fisheries House you can learn about the local history of the area.

In Søndervig and Hvide Sande you will find large shopping centres, and along the isthmus you can visit the local grocery store.
