Description
Interior
Newly renovated holiday home with soul both inside and outside. Here you will quickly feel the peace and holiday atmosphere.
The heart of the house is the large open kitchen/living room, which is located in the middle of the house. Here is room for the whole family, for dining and for playing.
Two good bedrooms - 1 double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an extra pull-out bed. In addition, 2 sleeping places in the living room. There is also a lovely bathroom, and if you need to wash your clothes a washingmachine is at your disposal, as well as a dryer for your towels.
If you bring a tablet or Laptop, you can use the house's wireless internet, and furthermore stream your own TV programmes via Chromecast.
Outdoor
Outside you will find a large terrace from which you can almost hear the sea, The house is located only 175 metres from the sea. There is a covered terrace when the sail is unfurled, so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun or seek shade - as required. And if you love a morning dip, the short distance to the beach makes it very easy to take a dip and rinse off in the saltwater afterwards. The garden is unspoilt, so the peace and quiet can be enjoyed as needed.
Nearby you will find Denmark's oldest mingolf course with tasty ice cream and a wide selection of well-drunk beer. There are 4-5 music events each summer, so you can dance in the garden to the music, completely unnoticed.
Location
The house has one of the most beautiful locations with a short distance to the sea. Saksild beach is one of Denmark's best beaches. Here you will find the finest sand and here you can swim without worrying about big waves and undertow. The area also has lively atmosphere with a restaurant, minigolf and an ice cream parlour.
If you still miss a bit of the big city, it's only 25 minutes drive to Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. Here you will find the art museum AROS and the historic living museum, The Old Town. On the way to Aarhus, Moesgaard Museum (MOMU) is always worth a visit with its exciting archaeological and ethnographic exhibitions.
We look forward to welcoming you in Saksild.
