The dog's suitcase

When bringing the family dog on holiday, there are a few things that it would be a good idea to bring:

• Dog passport with vaccination certificate
• Name tag with your holiday address and mobile phone number
• Collar and leash in order for you to be able to take the dog on nice walks
• Towel for the dog in order for you to be able to dry it off after the walk
• Small water bowl and water bottle – the dog may become thirsty on trips
• A blanket that the dog can sleep on and that it feels comfortable with
• Dog food. The most common brands are available in most places, but you should at least bring a little from home for the first days
• Medicine chest for the dog (tablets for stomach trouble, travel sickness etc.) – you may want to discuss this with the vet
• Dog toys, bones and treats as needed
