Bicycle routes in Denmark
There are loads of bicycle routes across Denmark in all directions. From north to south and from east to west. Long and short, hard and easy. All in all, there are more than 10,000 km of marked and mapped bicycle routes. The routes go along small roads with very little traffic, undisturbed forest roads, specially established bicycle roads, bicycle paths and closed railway lines. And the main part of the bicycle routes are on asphalted roads.
Bicycles in Denmark
Bicycles must be equipped with:
- Bell
- White reflector on the front
- Red reflector on the back
- Yellow reflectors on the pedals
- Yellow reflectors on the spokes or reflector strips on the wheel
After dark, the bicycle must be equipped with bicycle lamps.
